About this Photo: Professor Michalle Mor Barak (5th from right) hosts an end-of-the-year celebration for first-year doctoral students. The USC School of Social Work attracts a more diverse student body than most other top-10 doctoral social work programs, with an average of 38 percent students of color, compared with 29 percent for other leading schools. Nearly half of those in the school's PhD program are international students.
