International Offices
The University of Southern California, already by many metrics the most international of the major U.S. research universities, is enhancing its longstanding global ties with five USC international offices:
USC's international offices work closely with academic partners in education and research, with partners in the corporate and NGO worlds, with government agencies and international organizations, and with a global network of Trojan alumni and friends.
While the university's international offices provide assistance to USC schools and academic units in many ways, their principal activities are focused on three areas:
- Global Recruiting. The international offices support and enhance USC's efforts to recruit ever more qualified undergraduate and graduate students by working closely with the Office of Admission and with academic units across the university.
- Global Partnerships. The offices work with all of USC's schools and academic units to develop and expand joint research partnerships and programs between USC and government agencies, private corporations and other institutions of higher education by facilitating meetings with USC faculty and administrators who have an interest in collaboration between universities, and by exploring opportunities for promoting USC research.
- Global Opportunities for Students. The international offices support and seek opportunities for student exchanges, internships and service-based learning to provide an ever-increasing number of USC students with international study, living and working experience that will equip them for success in an increasingly competitive global workplace.
